I come before you today with a heartfelt request for your prayers. The Global Methodist Church is on the cusp of a significant moment in its history. From September 18th to 27th, delegates and leaders from around the world will gather in San Jose, Costa Rica for the Convening General Conference. This assembly holds the promise of shaping the future of our denomination, and it is imperative that we approach it with hearts aligned with God’s will.

I have been deeply honored to receive an invitation from the dedicated TLC team, who have poured their hearts and souls into the meticulous planning of this conference. It is with great humility and a sense of divine calling that I will be joining them, not only as an attendee but also to lead worship during this sacred gathering.

As we embark on this journey together, I urge you to join me in fervent prayer. Let us beseech the Almighty to shower His abundant grace upon this conference. May the Holy Spirit descend upon us, filling every heart with wisdom, discernment, and unity. May our deliberations be marked by a spirit of collaboration, mutual respect, and a deep desire to glorify God in all that we do.

Let us pray that the Convening General Conference will be a time of profound spiritual renewal for our denomination. May it serve as a catalyst for revitalization, empowering us to carry the message of Christ’s love to a world in desperate need of hope.
